Google had added the following 12 new file formats to their Docs Viewer:
Within Gmail, these newly added file formats will now show a “View” link (as shown in the above Photoshop attachment); clicking on the "View" link will allow you to view any supported attachment within the Google Docs Viewer.

In rural America, only 60 percent of households use broadband Internet service, according to a report released Thursday by the Department of Commerce (10 percent less than urban households). Over all, 28 percent of Americans do not use the Internet at all.

Australian Govt. Report Released – volunteers have a growing preference for online volunteering February 16, 2011

The report which polled more than 800 volunteering groups, found that traditional forms of volunteering remained popular but new forms of participation were emerging and needed to be accommodated.
The report will inform the National Volunteering Strategy, which the Australian Government plans to release later in 2011.

Although Digital Surgeons provided a list of sources at the bottom of the said graphic, one key question begs asking: Were the illustrated findings derived from sound social science research methodologies?
